Ah! Clarity.
If anything completely irks me is a habitually indirect individual. Clear thoughts convey clear messages. James 1:18, “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” Proverbs 10:19 affirms, “When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise” (NIV).
Sometimes things are better left unsaid. Other times, things are better left unembellished....

Excellence.
I have this thing. It’s quite simple. It’s called a job. It bothers me occasionally.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful for gainful employment, but nonetheless frustrated. Frustrated with work, with people, with people at work while working a mundane, yet demanding job. I don’t mind working. I don’t mind most people. I don’t mind working a mundane,...

Pure Religion.
(KJV) Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
(NIV) Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27
Not religious? Think again. Jumping...

Good Work.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
Created for good, even before we were named. That’s awesome. Purposefully designed by His divine hand to perform good works and live in them. Amazed and humbled how God crafted us so wonderfully beautiful. We are good works, created by a good God, for a...

Familiarity of Injustice.
Clearly, the injustices witnessed, shared, or reported daily have already been mentioned in the Word which should make us more mindful of the times were living in.
The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For...

Good is Good.
Goodness: a little bit goes an extremely long way. Lacking desperately in communities and groups of varying sorts is good old fashioned wholesomeness. You know, the stuff that makes you feel all gooey and lovely inside. Puts a smile on your face and a pat on your back and makes you feel as if you can do just about anything, is a bundle of sure enough yummy goodness right there. Just dandy. Swell....

It Doesn't Matter.
Someone told me that the world (sinners), find Christ mostly in times of heartache. I can see that [but] I told [him], I really don’t care when or where a person finds Him, just along as [he’s] willing to allow Jesus Christ to keep [him] for the rest of this life!
A friend shared this today and I like that thought.
Quite simple: we are all sinners, saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ....

Why Worry?
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. Philippians 4:7 Message
Can any one of you by worrying add a...

Faith.
A churchy girl, preacher’s child, who loves the Lord and understand I need Christ like air to breathe. I need Him like I thirst for water. I need him like everything depends on it. And certainly everything in my life depends on Him. I invite you to confess Christ, walk with Him, and let him be Lord of your life. Convinced? Interested? Try this.
